How We Can Help
Counseling Services utilizes a custom clinical care model of counseling. This means that sessions will focus on the issues/concerns at hand. If ongoing, continuous therapy is required, the student will be referred to a professional in the community. If a student requires medication management, the student may be referred for a psychiatric consultation.
Our counselors have training and experience with many student concerns, some of which are listed below:
Academic Concerns | Relationship Issues
Adjustment Issues | Roommate Issues
Alcohol/Drug Use and Abuse | Self-esteem
Anxiety/Panic | Self-injury
Depression | Sexual Assault
Eating Issues/Body Image | Sexuality Identity Issues
Family Concerns | Social Injustice
Grief/Loss | Stress Management
Suicidal Thoughts/Behaviors |
