Substance Free Housing
The Muhlenberg College Substance-Free Housing community provides a nurturing space that is not solely defined by the absence of substances, but also normalizes a substance-free lifestyle, where students can feel free to engage in a social life without participating in alcohol and other drugs.
The approach of this community is holistic, emphasizing and supporting a substance-free lifestyle as a fundamental component while also prioritizing the overall well-being of its residents. The community is designed to benefit anyone looking for larger supports, both on and off campus, as they work toward personal betterment and academic achievement.
Students living in this community will have a resident advisor and community coordinator that will support them and also have an opportunity to engage in dynamic programming that explores the Division of College Life’s learning domains including but not limited to holistic well-being and sense of belonging.
This will be a mixed class year community housed in Taylor Hall. As interest increases, allocating additional residential space will be explored.
