Message from the Vice President of Advancement

It has been a remarkable year for Muhlenberg College, and I am thrilled to share the impact of your generosity. Our supporters are the foundation of excellence at this College and, because of you, we are closer than ever to reaching our ambitious goals. I am excited to announce that, by the close of fiscal year 2024 on June 30, our community committed nearly $112 million — 89% of our $125 million target for Boundless: The Campaign for Muhlenberg.

Last year, philanthropy totaling $9.4 million in cash receipts empowered our students and faculty across every part of the Muhlenberg experience. Thanks to our community’s generosity, we’re making tremendous strides in the campaign’s three core areas: People, with investments in endowed professorships and financial aid; Places, including the expansion of Seegers Union and the groundbreaking Core Living Building Certified Fahy Commons; and Experiences, with support for study abroad, internships, and community-based learning.

Philanthropy, like the College itself, is a collective effort, and our achievements this year are shared ones. Alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff and students came together through initiatives like Mulementum, Mule Madness (which saw 11 Mule athletic teams reach 100% participation), and THAW, which drew more than 1,000 alumni, students, and friends. Our graduates and friends attended events on campus and across the country, building community and support for the next generation of Mule alumni.

This support helps make us who we are: academically rigorous and deeply supportive, so that our students develop into independent critical thinkers who are intellectually agile and prepared for lives of leadership and service.

Your commitment and encouragement inspire others to invest in Muhlenberg's bold ambitions.

With deep gratitude,

Rebekkah L. Brown ’99
Vice President for Advancement
